My career, in fact my whole life, has been devoted to proving my value. I think this stems from the lessons my father drilled into me at a very early age. He always reminded me, “don’t wait for someone to ask you to help them; anticipate the need and fill it right away.” Later in life I heard over and over from other sources, “If you find a hole; fill it.” I guess you can say that this motto was the assurance of always being needed. As a woman, wife and mother, this was an exhausting practice. Most woman wearing those hats don’t need much assurance of being needed. It seems that, especially in early motherhood, we are in high demand and pulled in all directions. You add a job or a career to that equation and you have the makings of a major meltdown if you are not careful. I can attest to many of those days and years when there seemed to be more holes than I could possibly fill.
My coaching career has brought me in contact with so many business leaders and real estate agents that are struggling to find balance and purpose for themselves as they are called to serve others. Because of my own journey and personal trials, I have been able to help many show their value to their clients in a systematic authentic style without becoming overwhelmed and defeated. I even have hole filling materials to share with my clients so they can fill the holes in their own lives. Connect with me to set up a consultation. I will show you how just a phone call a week can keep you sane.
